Wilderness Immersion for Self Esteem (WISE)Guiding Hands Recreation Society

I created this piece for Tipi Camp’s WISE Kids Programs for BC Hydro’s Community Champions, a province-wide competition that awards $10,000 to non-profits demonstrating environmental leadership in their communities.

Thanks to an overwhelming show of local and provincial support, we won!

Tipi Camp has since used the award to purchase new solar-powered fridges for their kitchens, solar lamps for their common areas, and to support the bursary program that allows underprivileged youth to attend their wilderness immersion programs.
