Anandi is a film poem created by Odette (Becca) Peralta, Chris Monette, Kenton Gilchrist, and myself during one crazy day at the Banff Adventure Filmmakers’ Workshop in November, 2016. Anandi is an exploration of the interconnectedness between music, math, and mountains, and the fine line between chaos and beauty. The idea was conceived during one inspired evening at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, and shot and edited the following day. Anandi means bliss, the peak state reached during pure, focussed creativity. It also happens to be my name : )
