India is a place where everything can and does exist. Death dances with birth, the temple overlooks the dumping grounds, the beautiful and the disgusting merge and mingle with each other. I spent the better part of my childhood in the Himalayas, and this experience has deeply influenced how I view the world, and my place within it. I make an annual pilgrimage to the Kullu Valley to visit my mother, my teacher, and my childhood friends. This is a collection of mountains and moments captured in the pristine Kullu Valley, and on the crowded streets of New Delhi.
